Selected files are decoded with browser APIs and remain on the device unless you independently share the exported result. File names, image content, Blob URLs and local paths are not included in analytics.
Optional device saves
Asset Studio keeps work in memory unless you enable Keep on this device. When enabled, IndexedDB stores your project, source images, masks, layer positions, palettes and edit settings in this browser. You can separately choose Save palette across projects to store a palette on this device, and clear that palette library from the color panel. This is not a cloud upload. Clearing site data can remove those saves. Turning off saving stops future writes but does not delete existing projects; use Clear saved projects to remove them.
Settings and backups
localStorage holds preview preferences and recent-project IDs and times, not image pixels. Downloading a .mmstudio backup is your choice and creates a file through your browser. We cannot verify that you keep the downloaded file. Open Project reads only the file you select. Backup files can contain your original images; share them only when you intend to.
External services
Official store links lead to third parties with their own policies. Homepage video thumbnails load from YouTube image servers, which receive standard connection information such as your IP address. The YouTube privacy-enhanced embedded player loads only when you select Play; YouTube then processes playback data under its own privacy policy. Project images are not sent to the video player. If necessary analytics or cookies are introduced, this page and any required consent control will be updated.
